Small Kpop MV review: Infinite - The chaser

Me is spazzing right now!! Not as much as I did with B.A.P., but it is something close to that. Yes people, Infinite is having their comeback and their new MV is totally awesome.

First of all, the rhythm is awesome. I'm used to this fast rhythm that is always, or almost always, used by Infinite in their songs. It's like their trademark. It gives you this feeling of rush and it makes you want to dance to it. Because of this rhythm, their dance is as fast as the song, and this is one of the reasons I love these guys. Their dance moves are so fast for my eyes, but they are able to actually do the moves every time in sync and you really can't see a difference from a performance to another because it's the same: perfect!

Second, Woollim, what happened to you? Did you finally realized what great potential exists behind Sungjong and Sungyeol? The guys finally got a little bit more lyrics, more screen time and they are placed in the center. I almost did not see L, who is the face of the group. Sungjong and Sungyeol finally got what they deserve as part of this group. I always got the impression they were used when places needed to be filled by someone else than the rest of the group.

Third, I haven't really understood the MV. I did read the english translation of the lyrics, but I can't find something that will make me understand the MV not even 5%. So if there is someone who did understand it, then please explain it to me.

The song is about them being dumped and them saying they won't give up on  those girls and that they will make them fall in love again with them (I used so much "them"). So I guess this is where the title comes from. They chase after the love of some girls. Ohhh!!!! I guess they chase for the girls, so they take things to the extreme, like they would do anything without giving a damn about the consequences, that's why L has a car crash, Hoya is climbing something, that probably is hard to climb, and Dongwoo and Sungyeol are on a bike. But I still did not understand the part with the keys that Sunggyu and Sungjong have in their hands and what is that box all about.

Anyway, all in all, I love the song and the MV. I will always enjoy listening to Infinite.

Japanese Festival: Okiagari Koboshi

I planed to go to this festival yesterday, but I had a terrible headache when I woke up in the morning, so I gave up the idea. But, today I was feeling super ok and I did go to the Japanese Festival Okiagari Koboshi. The festival was made by the classes from the Japanese section of Ion Creanga High School. It was fun to walk around the classes and see what I can do.

The first thing I did, was to learn how to do the wrap something in a cloth (Furoshiki), like books, bottles, bento, so that you can transport them easier, and also, how to make cool bags from these cloths. After that I saw some anime (Kuroshitsuji and Togainu no Chi), then I went to the origami room and made some lilies, a dog, a boat and tried...tried to make a crane but I forgot how to make it, so I gave up in the end. The fun part was to see Tsuki making a heart bookmark. She tried, she really did, and in the end she finally made it, but it was so fun seeing her trying to do something that it seemed easy (even I couldn't solve the mystery behind the making of the heart bookmark).

Oh, I went to the Haunted House (Obake yashiki) which was pretty cool. I think I screamed once, I really don't know, but it was fun. I always saw this kind of things in Anime and Japanese dramas and I wanted so much to try it and today my wish came true. And Tedi, I'm sorry I wasn't looking behind me so that you could scare me, but Tsuki was dragging me towards the exit to fast to be able to do anything.

The ending ceremony was nice because of the traditional japanese dance, the modern one, because there was a girl that played a traditional instrument called Koto (please correct me if I'm wrong). And thank you Tedi for singing (even if there were some technical problems).

All in all, it was a fun way to spend my Sunday and I can't wait for next year. ^^

Picture and videos time (sorry for my crappy pictures but I have a 9.5 megapixels Kodak so I can't ask for to much):

I'm thinking of.....

....doing something new on this blog. Since I saw my stats for this blog and realized I have around 970 views (I'm not trying to brag about it or anything like that), I thought of trying something else.

That's why I created a suggestion box (kind off) and I'm waiting for you too suggest me a topic or something you want me to talk about it. The questions can be something like "I want to know your opinion on books, so can you make a "Let's talk about: Books" post?". Also, you can ask me whatever it comes in your mind about me and my life (well almost anything, let's keep a good level of decency here) and I'll make separate post with my answers to these questions.

If you are interested in this suggestion box, start asking:

My favorite song #5: Andrea Bocelli - Vivo per lei

Today's favorite song is *drum roll*:

Like I said, I do listen to all kinds of music (well almost all kinds), in any kind of language that can be found on this planet. When I was little I was watching with mom italian movies or dramas (hmm maybe I'll use this as a new topic to talk about) and I fell in love with the language. I heard it's quite an easy one to learn and it sounds really cool. How I came across Andrea Bocelli at a young age, I really don't know, but his songs are one of the best in the entire history of the music industry. Also, Laura Pausini has a beautiful voice too.

Enjoy listening to this song. ^^

Small Kpop MV review: B.A.P. - Power

It's late (10:57 pm), I went to bed last night at 1:00 am, I didn't fall asleep right away so by the time I was sleeping I'm pretty sure it was 2 or 3 am, I wake up at 8:30 in the morning, but I really really really can not ignore this MV and not make a post about it.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to present you B.A.P.'s new music video:

Let me tell you this: these boys are rookies, but for someone who sees them the first time, I'm sure they don't think that way. Even I think they are better than some other kpop bands that are on the market from a couple of years ago. And TS Entertainment, you really know how to invest your money. The music videos of B.A.P. really represent them and the song. B.A.P. is fierce, powerful, and the members are like true warriors (hence their debut song name). When they invested money in these boys, I don't think that TS Ent. ever thought they were going to come out like this.

Even their dance is powerful. The moves, especially the one when they put one foot up all of the sudden (I really moved back a little bit at that part because of the way it was filmed, the scene look real, like their foot will come out of the screen), are absolutely awesome, even the part with the ass slap :))) (I'm a perv and I know it. Himchan tonight you will be in my dream =))) ).

And it's not only that. No people, there is more. The dance part with the spray cans, when they just dance near end of the MV (at minute 2:58), is so out of the normal. Lately kpop songs use dubstep for that part, but what did B.A.P. used? A freaking spray sound. Not dubstep, just spray. I don't have a problem with dubstep, I really enjoy it, but kpop composers, please keep it out of kpop.

And the parts I love the most are Himchan's parts. He really is my number one when it comes to B.A.P. He really can't give up his psycho bunny eyes at all. I had seen them in this MV too and I liked it. I'm curious in how many MVs he will make those eyes, but I'm sure I won't be mad for him making them. I will be angry with him if he doesn't make them. ^^

That's all. Now keep calm and listen to B.A.P.!!!

EDIT: After listening to the song more carefully, I realized that when they sing "warning warning warning" in Power, you can heard in the background something that has the same rhythm, but like a faint sound, with the whistle part from "get down get down get down" from Warrior.

EDIT2: You can hear it much better when Zelo starts to sing.

Let's talk about: Artistic skills

Okay, I know I promised I would post something yesterday, but I was a little busy with a project I need for when I'll finish college this summer, if I want to get my Master degree. Now I grabbed my can of Coca Cola and I am ready to write about my artistic skills.

I should start with telling you guys that I don't have a cool voice when it comes to singing. At least, that's my opinion. I don't know what others opinions are because I'm pretty sure nobody heard me singing ... besides my family  when I was little maybe. I really don't sing around people unless I'm at a concert and I know that the music is so loud they can not hear me at all. I know I know, for someone who listens to music as much as I do, I should have in a way or another have a little bit of voice (because I usually sing when I listen to music), but that never happened. Since this part is cleared, let's move on now. ^^

Please let me tell you a little story. When I was young, until my 5th grade, all my drawings for school (because we had a class like that once a week) were done by my mom. Yes, I could not draw something beautiful at all. It was like my right hand was on a strike for life. I never thought I would ever be able to do draw and paint something. I don't know what happened, but when I was 11 years old, I started to draw, not beautiful or like an artist, but it was better than before. Trust me, much better. I'm so sorry I don't have some of the drawings since I was young, because you would see what I'm talking about. I remember that in my 7th grade we had to draw with a pencil (that means only black and white....and gray) different objects or flowers and we had to include shadows as well. That's when the magic happened. My drawings were finally beautiful. It was not looking like a 2 or 3 years old kid drew them.

Since I went to high school, I didn't have that drawing class anymore, so for years I didn't draw at all. That was the period I started to watch anime again and read manga. Because of those, when I was in my first year of college I started to come across different people that drew in an anime style, but with them adding a little bit of their own style into it. That's when I found about a website: www.deviantart.com.

Because I was seeing that everyone was welcomed on that website as long as you can draw, I started to draw again. Here are some drawings of that time.

But I was looking more and more at other peoples works of art (really, some are really really really gorgeous) and I realized that those drawings were colored on a computer and not by hand. Now let me tell you, I heard about Photoshop before, but I thought I was never going to be able to learn how to use it since I thought it was really complicated. Not even today I don't know every aspect of this program but I sure did improved over the years.

Over the time I came to use another program from Adobe, and that is Illustrator to make the lines of my drawings. I don't know if this is still counted as drawings since all of them are done digital (I haven't draw by hand lately) but I love how they look, and from time to time I still draw since this is my hobby. I'm just sad that months ago one of my hard drives decided to have a nervous break down and die. That means no more room for Photoshop on my current hard drive.

Here's a small comparison of between two of my drawings: (keep in mind that the first drawing has a transparent background, that's why when I put the two of them together it ended with a white background)

I'm alive!!

It's true...I'm not dead...not yet :D. I know I haven't post anything, I'm sure I have some ideas about what to talk about back in my mind and I'm going to post something new starting tomorrow, hmm or maybe later.

First thing first, Happy Easter to all of those people that follow or read my blog and I haven't said that to them before. I hope you all had a great time, that you spent time with family and friends (in my case, the first day I spent it with my friends from where my grandparents live) and that you got some presents (even if it was a small one) from the bunny.

Second thing, I absolutely love the TV my aunt sent. I can't see normal TV channels on it, because you can see only digital channels, but you can connect a USB Flash Drive to it and that's how I'm going to watch my korean dramas and music videos from now on. I tried it with the MVs of EXO (you should check out this band, maybe you will like it) and it's just like watching TV, but I choose what to see ^^.

Third thing, some friends of mine, actually two of them, made me listen to old romanian songs and romanian songs people would sing around a campfire when they go to the mountains or to the beach. How did they do that? Because they were singing them. I praise them for their voices, I really do, but now I have some songs stuck in my mind and I can't get rid of them at all. Like, yesterday when I went to bed the song kept repeating and repeating and repeating in my head until I fell asleep.

I really hope it will have the same effect on you, as it had on me (*insert evil laugh*)!

Well, that was all for now. All in all, I'm back and ready to write things about things :)))
